well wanted to do better, but i still had a blast. conditions were amazing, too
amazing on 15. The band was so packed, i could never find a decent run
freqency. 20 and 10 are the only bands i ran a lot on, especially 10...
amazed at low band numbers, just running low dipoles on 40/80. no amp for 160,
suprised i worked 5 guys :)
saturday was interesting.. it was raining and snowing very heavily... as most of
you know, big antennas up in the clear + heavy recip = 20 over noise... so most
of saturday was spent S&P with the quiet 6el mosly tribander at 35ft..
started contest with sb221, sat morning to EU on 10 it got so hot the
transformer started to melt some plastic pieces inside the amp and made a real
nice smell so i used the henry 2k4 the rest of the contest...
