Comments:
A good job from W1 of getting fixed station guys on for at least a few hours,
but I did not hear much of the mobile activity that is necessary to keep a
contest like this interesting. I had only 8 qsos with mobiles, 5 with K1KI and
3 with N1RL, although both had good signals.
For much of the time Cleveland was just a little too close for 20 meter action
- the guys in Maine were loud, the guys in EMA and NH were up and down, and the
guys in CT and WMA were scatter. With no daytime 40 meter activity early Sunday
and beautiful WX here, I spent most of Sunday getting in 60 miles on my bike.
The concept of putting together the QSO Parties of a number of small states
makes a lot of sense. A good idea by the YCCC guys to do so with this contest.
