What a fun contest. Activity was much higher than individual State QSO parties.
I'd like to see this expand to other call areas.
Most of the operators I invited were from New England... Merri, ABØMV
went to Prep School in Andover MA and then attended Bennington College in VT, I
grew up in Southeastern CT, and Bruce, WW1M is from Maine. We all enjoyed
working our friends back home. Merri always keeps us well fed. This time she
made great Salmon lasagne and a tasty Chicken marinara dish.
Contest highlights: Working hams I grew up with and working those rare
Northern
Maine Counties that Tom, K1KI activated from his mobile station. The few
counties we missed were in NH and VT. Clean sweep in CT, RI, MA, ME.
