First time in the IARU test. Had a power outage to start the contest running on
batteries. Writelog wasn't scoring the OJs correctly initially (my own fault for
not checking the cty.dat). Got that stuff fixed and settled into a leisurely
contest. Couldn't get anything to go on 40. 10 and 15 were all but dead. 20 was
a powerhouse.
Still very hard to be competitive from Ø-land with a tribander @ 50' and 400-500
watts. You coastal guys put up a heck of an RF wall. Not to mention the pileups
in Europe, etc.
