Comments:

OPERATION BY GEORGE, K5KG, AND FRED, NA2U. BOTH FRC AND FCG SHOULD SHARE THE
CREDIT FOR THIS OPERATION. A CHALLENGE FACED DURING THE CONTEST WAS HOW TO
EFFICIENTLY SHARE MULTS BETWEEN THE MULT-FINDING STN AND THE RUN STN. USING
WRITELOG WE USED THE NETWORK GAB TO PASS THE MULTS.

WE HAD A TREMENDOUS WIND, RAIN, LIGHTNING STORM DURING THE NIGHT, AND FOR ABOUT
40 MINUTES HAD TO SHUT DOWN AND UNPLUG.

CONDITIONS WERE REASONABLE, EXCEPT FOR 10 METERS WHICH NEVER DID AMOUNT TO MUCH.
WE DID NOT TRY TO WORK 160M OR 75 FONE AT ALL. ALSO 40 FONE DID NOT
MATERIALIZE AS IT HAD DONE IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR. CLERLY 15 AND 20 WERE THE
PAYLOAD BANDS.

WORKING THE OJ STNS WAS AN ADDED FUN, AND SOME OF THEM HAD TREMENDOUSLY LOUD
(20DB OVER S9+) SIGNALS. IT IS AMAZING WHAT 100W WILL DO!

LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR.

73, GEORGE AND FRED
