Great, swift contest and lots of fun.
Surprisingly good condx. Congratulations to Chris, KL9A for the excellent
score.
I had the chance to be in one team with Chris at K3LR and it was a joy watching
him running the pile-up.
Why don't we count the WRTC stations as multiplier next time?
Unfortunately few days before the contest an arching street transformer started
to give me S9+5 noise from my EU direction.
I have contacted Toronto Hydro's local office but the noise is still on.
Using VE3NZ, Geo's mobile set-up and a solid state AM radio we have located the
source on the near by street about 500m away. I am not sure if it's the
transformer or insulation or what. I was promised someone will check it out from
the electric company.
Did anyone have experience like this? Any advice?
