I was real happy for this group of basically non contesters and one young Ham
KD5TMF that had just gotten license and made his first ever contact. He did it
in a contest enviroment and handled it really well. He kinda got "dumped" into
the 20 meter pit. But came out of it smiling after making a few contacts.
A local thunderstorm in the afternoon really put a hurt on the low bands but we
suffered through.
We had a total of 15 operators and visitors and had a lot of fun in this casual
contest effort.
