Comments:
Total includes credit for one QSO with K4TCG. Great contest, good participation
from the central and eastern parts of the state. A little sparser from the
western part of the state, but still a great time. This contest was my first
foray into contest-speed CW, which definitely hurt the rate for the last hour of
the contest, but helped my self-esteem incredibly.
I don't really fit into the SO2R category except that the tuner for the loop was
connected to the TS-850, and the CW keying for 40m was set up through the
TS-930, and I didn't want to take the time before the contest to consolidate
them.
Equipment:
Radios - Kenwood TS-930S@100W, Kenwood TS-850SAT@100w (on 80M)
Antennas - Force 12 C4XL @ 50', 80m full-wave loop @ 35'
Logging/CW Keying - CT
Thanks to Henry for the use of his station once again, and work us in the North
Carolina QSO Party in February.
73,
Chris Plumblee
