Comments:
This has become challenge to stay awake, now with the 48 hr format.
Should sleep be curtailed to obtain a big score, or in my case
the 33 hours was the best that I could manage.
Conditions were terrific on all bands, altho my crummy 80 Inv V sucked.
Best DX that I couldn't work was YB0AI on 40 meters, did get a few JA's
though. Good stuff that actually worked me, were;
VR2BG AH0B 5N0NHD , T77CD (3 bands), OA4O BX4AF TR8CA UK9AA
VU2WAP TA1BM TA1EQ TA9J MD3LCR/P TF3AO JX7DFA ZC4DW PZ5RA
FR5GS SV5/G4OBK C31PM, and VK6GOM & VK6HD.
Strange no other VK's other than 6 land !
Worked Norm VK6GOM on 20 lp at dinner time and was pleased to get
ZC4DW on 40 mtrs with abit of a struggle. In the end I broke the
Canadian SO/HP/AB record held by a buddy VE3XO...
Even managed to squeeze in my daughters ( 27th ) birthday and cake on
Saturday evening... Had a great time with the conditions, just wish I was
about 30 years younger ( I am nw 52 )..Cu in the next one..73 Glenn VA3DX
PS- Tks GU0SUP VE9DX, and others for qsys !!! va3dx@sympatico.ca
Final score subject to Cabrillo and UBN's ....
