Comments:
Initially I would not participate this year but beginning of september I
received a certificate for last year participation (first South American on 20m)
and I decided to participate in 2002. The week before contest I became ill, my
XYL(medical doctor) strongly suggested to not start because I needed to rest and
participation would make it even worse. I started and I admit that the
the first hours were horrible(fever, headache,etc) at a point that I was
thinking about stopping, but saturday afternoon I started feeling better
(adrenaline effect from contest?). Even if I was not fit I managed to give
multipliers from PJ2 to about 1200 stations on 10m. Thanks to all participants
and sorry to those who asked for a band change where I was in general not able
to do it.
