Comments:
First time QRP in any contest. It was so much fun I might try it in SS SSB. That
might be pushing it though. :) I never thought I would get a sweep running 5W. I
heard VY1JA in the early afternoon and he was about an S-8 and I realised right
away that he was operating split. I wasted 40 mins calling him when I finally
decided to move on and try to add more q's and come back later. I came back to
28016 later and he was S-9+15 on my 7 ele. yagi. I knew I at least had a shot at
this point. Got him on the 2nd call! A while later I heard KL7WP calling CQ and
got him on the first call for the sweep. I'm very pleased with my score
considering I was only using 1 radio. Hey, maybe we should all operate QRP next
year! You don't think so, oh ok... :)
