Comments:
Started about 15 minutes late due to Andy VE7AHA and Dale VE7SV stopping by for
some hardware that would be more useful for Dale out at his station.
I decided to not stop for a lunch break like I normally do and see if I could
make it to 02:00Z for a dinner break, then I would have to stop before 06:00Z to
keep with in the 10 hour limit.
I started a bit slow as I tried to decide whether to start on 10 or 15, decide
to start on 10 but after awhile I was finding that not a lot of mults where
showing up so I dropped to 15, and Q's and mults got better there. I didn't try
moving too many people but sure was glad when Ken VE7UQ kindly moved through the
bands for me to ensure a VE7 mult. I usually don't mind moving if someone asks
as chances are I could use the Q and mult on another band as well, besides it
gives me some practice to move make the Q and hopefully get back and not lose my
frequency.
I checked last years Jan. NAQP score and was surprised that I did better last
year score wise than this year even though I had made more Q's this year, but
made less mults, sigh.
I think that NAQP will probably become a contest that I will try to participate
each time as the time frame is good and just great fun.
Thanks all for the Q's.
