Comments:

One really has to work at that contest! Not as good as last year but close. Only
4 skip QSO's on 6m, FN74, FN84, EM25 and EM64. Go figure! All very strong but
there all by themselves and for an extended time! Magic Band indeed!
Of the 215 QSO's, 168 were in the home or 8 other adjacent "local" grids.
Only 40 were some form of enhancement such as tropo which was relatively short
lived!

Despite the cold weather the rotators continued to work even when the wind was
blasting away Sunday evening. The trip up the tower to untangle some coax on
Wednesday was worth the frostbite. One of the safety stops had failed making the
coax-tower relationship very cosy!

Still plugging away with only the IC706MKIIG, 100W on 6 (4el@100'), 50W on 2
(13el@ 50') and 20W on 432 (11el@50'). Lots of room for improvement, including a
couple of new bands!

Thanks for the QSO's folks. See you in June!
