Comments:

I didn,t realize it was NAQP weekend until 15 minutes past start time. I had no
intentions of working this contest except for making a few runs to hone my
contesting skills. To my surprise, I eneded up with over 8 hours of my time
invested. I decided I might as well turn in a score. I wish I had installed my
160 meter vertical "T" but I didn't. I did try and load up my 80 meter dipole
with a tuner. But as you can see that was short lived and good for only 6
Multi's. Conditions on 10 and 15 were not as good as I remember in years past.
40 meters was great with plenty of activity just after sunset. The activity
level on 80 seemed to be down a little, but picked up around 10 pm EST here.
160 was in good shape for plenty of contacts to the west and mid-west. Too Bad I
was missing a Transmit antenna !! This is a great contest especially for
operators new to contesting. With a little effort and preparation you could
easily do 1000 Q's in the 10 hour single-op time limit.
