Comments:
What a weekend! Snow static and high winds are the highlight of this weekend.
Just after the start of the contest, snow started to fall (very heavy). I am
really glad the predicted ice did not find it's way to north central Indiana,
but the snow gave us fits for a few hours.
The winds were a constant 30+ MPH with gusts around 50 MPH. The rotors did
their job, but you could tell the rotation speed was way down.
Openings were, as usual, interesting. Worked D88S during their middle of the
night on 10 meters. Thanks to all the DX operators for getting on the air. I
know for some of the stations (because of condx) this contest is only 2-4 hours
per day.
See you from Jamaica in the ARRL DX SSB Contest as 6Y8Z.
73's,
Kevin WN9O
