Thanks to everyone who called, heavy QRN made some of the contacts quite
difficult and yet everyone was patient, thank you all!
The only station from EU able to make it through the barrage of noise was EI7M,
I tried in vain to copy several very weak stations who responded to my CQs but
just could not pull them through.
ZL2IX had a great signal and the band was obviously open in that dierection but
he was the only station I heard from Oceana.
SA/Carib provided TI,TG,KP2,V4,ZF along with one or two others plus HK6, PY and
YV but again it seemed that activity was down somewhat on previous years.
Snow static shut me down for several hours Sat evening and I quit completely
just after VK3 sunset when the wind and snow turned into a blizzard.
