Station: IC706 MkIIG, 100w. 10m sloping doublet, ends at 5m and 1m, centre at 3m
AGL.
A few jolly hours searching and pouncing in between watching rugby and football
on UK TV. Low antenna and manual logging made every QSO a challenge, fighting
through the pile-ups. 28MHz was (almost) a dead loss, with propagation only down
to the eastern Mediterranean. 21MHz closed early on Saturday, but was better on
Sunday afternoon with good propagation to South America.
