Thunderstorms immediately before the contest, which thankfully soon eased.
Spent the final 4 hours of the contest frantically searching for an African mult
but to no avail! Would have taken the score to just under 10 Meg; the vital AF
mult was worth almost 2 M points!
Suppose I could have entered as Multi-op and used the DX-cluster, but I decided
against using the cluster as Single Op.
Not much DX on the bands, highlights were AP2IA (2 bands), KH6ND and ZL3NZ, and
a great turn-out from SP. Thanks! Delighted to work all 16 of the Polish
Provinces on 15m and 20m, (two missing for a clean sweep on 40m).
15m and 20m seemed the place to be. 10m was poor as expected, but 10m opened
into Poland about 3 hours before the contest finished.
