Comments:
Ran 3A plus GOTA (KY5V) and VHF station. 1500 bonus points and 167 GOTAs.
80- Noisy conditions
40- Packed and band was good
20- Packed and open most of the 24 hrs. 20 meter ops needed to run but dould not
muscle in to get a freq or maybe lacked the skill. :-)
15- Everyone else said it was minimal but it was good from our location. Late
Sunday monday morning was the best. Good location to hear both coast plus the
mid west. Had 100+/Hr rate during the late Sunday run for almost 3 hrs. saw the
meter peak about 170/hr.
10- STINKO!!! 1 QSO with TN
6- Down from last year by almost 75 QSOs. Very in and out.
2- Local stuff with a couple 150+ miles
Missed all the sections by 4. Missed ME, NNY, NWT and NL.
Of course much BBQ was consumed and a few brews...hey this is Texas.
Great FUN and no bugs.
