Comments:
I borrowed amplifier to try HP in this contest from my place, however I could
use it only on 20, 15 and 10 and (half-time) on 80m. Used 100 watts on 160 and
40 m due to numerous complaints from my family members on RF coming into home
computers, phones etc... Didn't have enough time to fix all the problems before
the contest.
With conditions like these it was definitely a European contest - EU activity is
way higher than one from US/VE.
Anyway, despite poor CONDX and stressful environment :-) I tried to do my
best.
RIG 1- FT1000MP Ant: TH6 at 60', Inv. Vee (40/80) with apex at 50'
RIG 2- TS940S Ant: Alpha Delta sloper for 160/40 at 50' (thanks to Bob, VE3AGC)
and R7000 mounted in the backyard about 20 inches above ground level.
Power:600-700 watts on 20-15-10, 300 watts on 80 (50% of time) and 100watts on
160 and 40.
Looks like we had a good VE3 competiton this year!
