Comments:
Ran a ground mounted Butternut HF6V for first time, with inverted Vee for 160
Surprised the HF6 tuned both SSB and CW portions with extra effort from radio
tuner and a bit of power loss (50-70 watts). Contest mostly S&P with few
Europeans in first half of contest but nice opening to VK at start. Quite a lot
of one way North-South overnight with loud SA but no contact from here. Bands
never got really crowded, evem 20M, so I wasn't hearing well. Quite a lot of
local static and crashes. No TVI with vertical. Lots of fun for first time in
contest.
