Comments:
Close but no sweep. With limited time, I tried to go for a sweep by using
packet and operating Unlimited. Saw VY1JA spotted a couple times Saturday night
but too late and no copy in the northeast. Never heard anything again in the
weekend but all the other sections were active and available well before the end
of the first 24 hours of the contest. Lots of good operating and excellent CW
copying. A few "0x" checks but the bulk seemed to be 70's or earlier. A great
operating time and the flare event was highly overrated and short lived. See
you next year.
