Comments:
Thanks to Dave, K1TTT, for being a great host and for the use of his awesome
station. Old sol was not too co-operative! Skip was quite long, and
absorbtion on 80m was terrible, with auroral flutter. Only way to work locals
on 80 was to listen on the beverages. Guys in Vermont were S1 with flutter! No
production on 15, and 10 was pretty much useless. These conditions favored
Dave's high antennas, and the 2el 40 at 180 feet smoked. Just before the
contest, heard the NT crowd getting ready, but went off to run... Never got em!
Parked the second radio on the 20m pileup for an hour or so Sunday, and never
heard a peep of them.
73, Gerry
