Comments:
I'm too cheap to pay for parking near the shack. Therefore, it's about a
25-minute walk. I wasn't about to haul my own radio over there; so, I used the
club's radio which lacks a CW filter. We weren't able to get access to the roof
to install a full-size 160 meter antenna for the contest. So, I loaded-up a
40-meter dipole about six stories up. My tuner is rated at 300W; so, I didn't
use the amp...but, I worked everybody I heard anyway. S9+10 noise in the city
made running tedious, so I was 99% S&P.
There were a lot of good ears in the contest. Thanks for the QSO's, guys...
73,
--Ethan, K8GU.
