Comments:
Thanks for the many stations willing to hang in there and repeat their call or
exchange. There was a tremendous noise level here the first night with much
improvement the second night. The few EU stations I worked the second night were
relatively strong. Perhaps it's a function of age, but I had one
disappointment. In the wee hours I inadvertently called CQ in the DX window and
was immediately met with a very loud "LID!" My apologizes to whoever I offended
- but I thought this was the "Gentlemen's Band." "Pse QSY DX" or something along
those lines would have worked just as well.
I agree with ZF2NT's comments regarding the scoring for DX stations. All in all
I had fun.
