Comments:
Of course the conditions were unfavorable, but when the band was open during mid
day, it was fun running at high rates, though only for about 3 hours here at 45N
latitude. Never heard a KL7, they must have had little or no opening. Friday eve
at 8:30 local, the band opened again with E skip to the western U.S., and worked
80 or so stations, but very little on the following night. I worked four JA?s
and about 26 Oceana stations the entire contest. Heard the W6's working stations
in the morning and evening with dead air here. A fun contest, evenings free and
normal sleep. The operators were excellent, and I thank them for the QSO's.
