Comments:
Was feeling sorry for myself Saturday morning when I was hearing K4OJ, NE4AA,
N4BP, and other Florida boys on the 2nd radio running the heck out of Europe. I
was REALLY feeling sorry for myself on Sunday morning when I heard NE4AA work a
VU2 who called him. "VU2? What? Holy crap, I still need a YU2!" OK, could
have been worse. Could have been in Indiana.
Well, I ended up working a few Europeans. Interesting hearing the northern
Europeans so late in the afternoon and with such huge signals. By far the best
signals of the contest from Europe were from the OH's. Go figure. The 8/8
stack was the only thing I could hear most of them on. The pattern produces a
much better S/N ratio.
Missed Alaska and VE8 and probably one of those other Canadian mults. I don't
think this score reflects N2NL/MM. TRLog puked on it. I had 61
states/provinces and 61 DX mults. No JAs heard. Surprised KM4M did.
Thanks for the Qs.
