Condx definitely deteriorated over last year. Big surprise!
But my Icom IC-756PRO2 / Yaesu FL-2100B combo did an acceptable job. Even
though the Butternut HF-6V needs a significant upgrading, I managed to work a
lot of folks this time out.
Propagation was W-E-I-R-D. I could work the east coast and into the Carribean
and South America, but forget about Canada and Alaska. Only Canadians I worked
were from VE3.
Had fun, just the same and got some much needed CW contest practice in. I did
also recognize a number of fellow NCCC memebers in their. Hope everyone else
enjoyed the test also.
