Comments:
Last minute operator changes at W6YX meant that I was helping set up contest
configuration files and voice keyer recordings there just before heading to
N6XI's for a 12-hour stint. Started the contest a few minutes late and took a
while to get a decent rate going. Had a bit of RFI in the keyboard which caused
me to lose a QSO that I hadn't fully logged before the random keyboard garbage
erased the callsign and exchange. I was very careful after that to log the QSO
before starting to talk.
Then I couldn't get anything going on 40 meters in the evening, so it was good
that 80 was hopping. Realize in retrospect that I should have worked NL and NT
when they were spotted in the afternoon on 20. Also missed ME, NNY and QC.
Tried calling W1AO on 80 a few times for ME but never made it through the east
coast stations calling.
