Got off to a rough start on 10m as it appeared I had distortion on the audio.
It took me about 20 minutes but finally convinced myself that RF in the shack
was causing some type of distortion on my monitor audio. 10m was just a bit too
long as I could work the New England area with ease but all the other mults were
exceptions.
Moved to 15m at 1843z and was rewarded with 144 QSO?s through 2000z which was by
far the best run of the day.
Two disappointments were:
1. Low mult counts on 15/20/40.
2. Poor performance on 40m. The rig (or my ears) simply can?t handle the 40m
mess plus contest conditions.
Thanks to everyone for the 80m qso?s as my antenna is worse then marginal.
