My New 2 meter and 430 Yagi antennas arrived at noon before the contest start.
Began to assemble them but ran out of time. Besides, mid-teen temps and two feet
of snow in the backyard eliminated installing my horizontal antennas. Used a 6
meter loop at 20 feet and the vertical on the car. Running verticals against
horizontal stations was extremely difficult.
It was a thrill to work anybody! Thanks to all who put up with my puny signals
and hope to do better this summer.
