Comments:

Lots of fun for my 2nd 160M contest, glad to have picked up a few DX entries
this time; added a new receive antenna for the 2nd night with an unterminated
beverage of about 400', now I need to improve the efficiency of my transmit
antenna : G5RV antenna at 65', fed marconi-style -- 65' vertical section, 102'
of top loading, tuned at base with MFJ-989 tuner in a plastic box, 4 125'
radials, lots of smaller radials;

With 150w, it was challenging to get the attention of some stations early in the
contest.

Worked about 80% of the stations I could hear; would have like to have worked
the JA5 & XE2 dx stations; couldn't work KD9SV despite multiple attempts. Would
dearly like to hear some of the European DX, VY's, VO's, and the like that
others talk about. Maybe in the phone side of the test...

Special thanks to VP5/VE3NE who I pestered for about 10 minutes before we were
able to complete the qso. My most humorous contact was when I wrked KV4FZ,
asked for the "ST". He replied "DX" and "VI", and although he didn't send it, in
my head I heard an implied "Duh!".

"Section" breakdown was LA - 2, NC - 3, BC - 7, OK - 3, NY - 1, VA - 4, HI - 3,
PA - 4, SD - 2, OH - 1, C6 - 1, WI - 4, NM - 7, VP5 - 1, MO - 6, AZ - 12, MA -
1, MT - 6, MN - 2, TX - 10, NJ - 1, WY - 1, NV - 4, AB - 3, OR - 11, WA - 31, ID
- 6, FM - 1, AL - 1, UT - 4, TN - 3, FL - 4, MD - 2, CA - 60, DE - 1, IA - 2, CO
- 9, MI - 3, ON - 2, VI - 1, AR - 2, IN - 4, GA - 3, IL - 4

Thanks to all, see you next time.
