Comments:
Had a great time, but came up about 1K points short of last year. Had more QSOs
but fewer mults. I think I spent too much time CQing, and not enough S&Ping.
Tried a 2 ft square 9-turn tuned loop for receiving, and it worked great.
Much
quieter than my Flag loop, but still couldn't hear any DX on it. I could hear
other stations working DX, but that was as close as I got. Next year I'll try a
larger loop :-)
There were very few stations that I called that I didn't eventually work. Some
were only above the whisper level, so I can't even imagine how weak I must have
been to them. Incredible ears out there. They must have wanted the Q every bit
as much as I did. Only disappointment was not hearing a RI station. I need RI
to complete my QRP WAS on 160m. Maybe next year.
Now prepping for the Sprint. Hope to see a bunch of you there.
73, Bob N6WG
