Force 12 C3-S at 12m, 40m dipole at 12m
An enjoyable contest although conditions were only average. Once again QRM was
my biggest problem and I must get FSK working to allow better RX filtering. I
had to move QRG frequently due to QRM.
There were some very big signals out there - SV8CS, 599 +20dB on 10m was
memorable.
Good to have quite a few contacts with the UK and especially some newer HF ops -
G8, GM8, G6 etc.
The high K index affected propagation to NA and only a few east cost QSOs were
made.
Thank you for all the QSOs and the next contest from here will be WPX SSB with
GM4YXI as 9M2RPN.
