Comments:
Still only two antennas; one 20M ground plane and one 40M ground plane. Ran 1 KW
on 20 and 40, and low power on the other bands loading these two antennas with
the antenna tuner in the FT1000. The amplifier definitely makes a difference
when using small antennas. Many operators asked me to move to another band -
mostly with success but not always. Conditions were better back in November when
I did not yet have the amplifier on line. Some operators asked me to move to 160
but I knew it would be futile this time. I should have an antenna up for that
band soon.
