Comments:
While not a long contest it was often slow as molasses. I got bored, tired and
demotivated. In fact, I got so bored at times I turned the second radio to the
AM commercial broadcast band and did some domestic SWL DXing. More computer
crashes led to more frustration. Was tempted to bail out early. I did take more
time off than minimum required. Turned the second radio and computer off during
the second half of the contest to see if that would solve any of the recurring
problems. But continued to experience crashes periodically. Should have used
the name "BOZO". You should try SO1.5R sometime. Start a new category! Missed
WAS by 5. Nice to have 15 DX stations call in (or the pace would have been
slower! - Worked 8P,9A,CT,DL,F,HA,J8,KP4,OK,ON,PA,PY,XE,YU,YV). Planning to
have more fun after solving the WL/MTTY issues that are plaguing me.
