Comments:
What a blast!!
I operated the first 10 hours, straight through.
Several times I wondered if that was a good strategy
or not, but the east coast was coming in pretty well
on 80, so how much better could it get later on?
The combination of calling cq on 40 and S&P on 80
just seemed to work great. I have a big line noise on 80,
so I didn't call cq much there.
All the equipment worked fb this year. MMTTY was copying
horrible flutter and backscatter signals just great.
This was one of those contest that you just have to
savor in your memory. It doesn't get any better.
RTTY - Who would'a thought?
