Less than an hour before the contest MMTTY would not work with WriteLog. After
several reinstalls of everyghing and no joy, I suggested renamimg the
Writelog.INI file and doing it all over again. Sure enough after reinstalling
the load and letting it create a new INI file things were working together.
After thinking we might be a no show, we were ready to go 5 minutes before the
contest started.
We topped our July 2003 score by over 30K. Overall 80 and 40 were great, but 10
was almost non existent from the true black hole (the land between two rivers in
the center of the country). We heard several other M/2s in the contest but
until the scores are posted I have no clue of where we will stand in the
rankings. At least one of those other M/2 stationa has a definited geographic
advantage over an IA location, based on prior contests on other modes.
