Comments:
A brief effort on my part -- partly because of outside commitments, but also
because of propagation. Operating QRP meant I had to work hard for almost every
QSO. There weren't any "slam dunks." And mine is not a "minimalist" station --
I have a Force 12 C4SXL at 50-feet (2 elements on each band 40-20-15-10).
Sometimes, working a station required 5-6 calls, occasionally I was asked 2-3
times for repeats (thanks, guys for taking your time to listen for me). And
sometimes, I couldn't be heard by stations who were S9+ at my QTH -- even when
there was no one else calling them.
Still, there were a few gems.... XV1X on 15, CN2R on 20, among them.
Interestingly, about 73-percent of the stations I worked were running 1KW,
9 percent in the 200-500 W range and 13 percent were running 100 W.
I worked only one QRP station WP3R (congratulations to WP3R!!).
