Comments:

My 1st RDXC. What a great contest! I set my target to break LY4AA's 2001 record
(5 mio) and to win the category. 2000 QSOs was the plan. I am very happy with
the score and the strategy that I chose. RDXC web site was of great help to
design strategy. Incredible work those guys have done! I analysed all the
statistics about band activity, multiplier activity, errors, etc...

SO2R is perfect was such contest, rate is not very high (maximum hours around
130) so it is easy to find stations on the 2nd radio. I worked 350 QSOs on
second radio. Strangely packet as almost of no use at all as the bands were not
too crowded and I could cover them all.

Contest was interesting from physical side as well. I was able to sit 24 hours
straight in operating chair not standing up once! I did not eat or drink
anything from 3-4 hours before the contest till the very end. Only a few sips of
coke.

Although the score is well above previous record it is possible to lose even 2
mio points in log checking as previous years' results indicate. Unfortunately
many people found it hard to believe that I have over 2000 QSOs and they asked
repetition several times. So many probably logged the number wrong. Well, we'll
see...

I tried to move all the multipliers I could and big thanks for moving to YB0A
(from 15 to 10!!), CN2R (40, 80 and 160), LU2NI(from 40 to 80) and many others.
Great to hear those guys calling in: 10m: C91W, 3V8SF/P, 9Q0AR, CX2FB, CA5UBR,
ZP8VAO, 5U7JB(10 and 15); 15m: HC2IK, VP2EY, OA4CSD/2, CM6XX/I0SNY, SU9BN,

HF0QF(S.Shetland), 80m: 9Y4SF and a lot of YI stations on all bands:)
