Comments:

Started on time after an 800 Km drive Friday.

20M was the busy band from here, always crowded. 15 and 10 quite quiet. 40
opened early evening but 80 opened several hours after sunset. On 40 Friday
night good to EU Saturday night much worse. Had several good runs on 20 in spite
of LP but rate only occasionally reached 100/hr. Sunday morning was lonely.

Had several 5 bands but only one 6 band with no 160 audible Friday night??
Vertical antenna packed up after midnight Sunday morning so emergency repairs
took an hour out just as 80 was getting lively. Neighbours didn't complain of
the flashlight activity in the back yard. Local noise on 40/20 dropped from S9
to S3 after 9 pm. I wonder if there is a local grow operation of Toronto's chief
cash crop in the area?

Nice to be called by 3B9C on 20. Couldn't complete qso with A61 as signal faded.

Fading was usual to EU and west coast W6/VE7. ZL6 boomed in when he was on as
did VK1. Pileups on Cyprus and Mauritania were unbreakable. Heard no JAs, even
at JA sunrise/sunset!

Tnx for qsos. Hopefully this is last time for cloud burning antennas, with
miniquad and a better 40/80/160 in the works. Lots of fun and didn't get too
tired. 700 q's first day and 350 second day. Thanks for info, Dennis.

Equipment:
