Not a good year to be in ITU Zone 57. Good local EU propagation made it
difficult to hold a frequency from here. Less than 10 USA stations heard/worked
during the entire contest! 30% of the total number of QSO's were made during
one hour at the start plus another hour at the end of the contest. Inbetween
those hours it was no pleasure operating! Thanks to all the JA's that called.
Primary goal was to set a new zone record which I did but it would have been
nice to make a few more QSOs!
Next year CW for sure..
