Comments:

Got on for the last hour or so in a shameless attempt to use the contest to get
my RTTY setup working (I knew there'd be plenty of activity to tune with!).

I hoped just to get the thing printing, but ended up having a ball - worked 5W
on 20 (a first for that country on any band/mode) and made my first ever RTTY
contacts. It's great being new at this game - so many firsts.....

I used W7AY's new cocoaModem RTTY application (http://homepage.mac.com/chen/)
with the microphone and headphone jacks on my iMac and some regular phono leads
to the Patch In and Patch Out on my rig (Kenwood TS-940/SAT). Worked FB - in
spite of a fair amount of QRN and QSB, the thing just kept on printing, even
when the signal faded so much I couldn't hear it over the noise level.

Right now, I stuck using AFSK on LSB, so I can't use my rig's nice, narrow
filter for FSK - next step is to make a keyer for the FSK jack on the rig so I
can do just that. Any ideas, anyone?

So, I can now add another mode to my hopeless addiction, and another slew of
contests to my calendar..... is there any end to it? :-D
