Comments:

I thought the 2002 IOTA running had the worst radio conditions. This weekend was
worse. Couldn't hear much of anything, anywhere. Instead of finding stations on
a stone-cold 40m during Saturday night, I was up on 50mhz working the Aurora
with my 3 ele. 6m beam.

What a show we had here overnight -- northern lights waving overhead and far to
the south of us. Made up a bit for the horrible wipeout of the HF bands here.

During Saturday morning for a while I had the 6m beam hooked up when I thought I
had the wire yagi coax plugged in. Wondered why the dipoles were louder, hi.
Note to self: update coax labels.

Was nice to work the few island stations I could hear. Thanks to all who
answered me.

73, Bud VA7ST
