Team: Mad River Radio Club (Doesn't show up in team drop down Bruce).
Round about noon, I decided to pull up my droopy dipole a bit. Bad decision,
the wire broke. Pulled the rope down from the tree and headed for the local
Sears hardware and Radio Shack to get some rope and (better) wire. Had antenna
back up by 4pm. Not as high as before, but good enough. Glad I had the time
otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten on.
Someday I going to get KW8N to let me do qrp from his place in this thing.
Either that or I'm going to get the 100 watt kit for my K2 and put up a tower.
