Lots of contests to compete with as well as the final days of the 135th
anniversary celebration. My goal was to beat last years score of 12K+ and I far
exceeded that goal. The bands were just great. Nothing on 10 of course but 15
was open both days as well as 20 most of the time.
I had never operated much on 40 due to the split but I did better this time
until I tried working a station that I had not worked yet on 40 but he said we
had worked. All I could find was another call in the log not even close so I
assume that they were both using the same listen frequency so lots of busted
