What a great time this years 160 test was ! Lee, K7TJR put in lots of
time,work
and effort putting up new beverages,and new multi-element receiving
arrays,plus
a new top loaded 90 foot irrigation pipe vertical, what fun it was using all
of the new toys !! and what fun turning the knobs on the receiving arrays to
try and figure out were the "weak one" that was calling, was coming from !
good Ja runs both nights, no europeans, but might have been hard to hear them
because of the wall of U.S. stations calling. One of our best efforts, cant
wait till CQ 160 ! well have more antennas for that one !!
