Comments:
QTH: Pekka's (OH1RY/EA8AH) place in Guia Mountain, Gran Canaria.
This is the same QTH where EA8ZS MultiMulti was operated on CQ WW SSB 2004.
ANT: Four 3-el yagis, fixed to EU, AF, NA, SA.
The yagis are only 9-12 meters above ground. No rotors. Can use any yagi
separately or in combination with 1 other yagi. In addition, had a GP for
listening.
RIG: Yaesy FT1000MP + ACOM 2000.
Another FT1000MP + lin + GP for listening and back-up.
Comments:
Missed my target, the old World Record made in 1991 (P40V by N7NG, 1.88M).
Bad propagation to USA West coast. Worked 2000 EU and only 1000 NA stations.
First day 2250 Q, second day only 1200 Q.
