Strange condx for this 10m test. Got home a couple of hours after the Friday
start due to great day skiing at Winter Park, CO. Glad I turned the radio on as
had a fine run of stations of 72 the first hour (and best for the weekend!).
Saturday morning, condx were poor which remained most of the weekend. Used
backscatter a lot for W/VE contacts; thought everyone was getting some good
ears listening for the weak ones in this contest! The South American stations
were the loudest dx stations! - Thanks to the dxpeditioners who put on a new
one and the dx guys who provided some nice mults.
Heard or worked lots of GMCCers: TI5N, KO7X, K0UK, K0FX, K0GAS, N0VD, KV0Q,
K0DU, K0CL, K0RI, W0ZA, and W0LSD. Sorry if I missed anyone.
Tried out my new (used) IC756 Pro II and felt it did a nice job.
