Comments:
I had a good time in this contest. I was just playing around a bit working DX
and getting some much needed code practice. It was also a good chance to get a
feel for what is working at the station and what is not. I found that I really
need to figure out a better transmit antenna for 160 as it is blocked by guy
wires and a tower towards the east - meaning that I am not as loud in EU and to
the Southeast.
Conditions seemed pretty good - 15 meters seemed to be in fine shape and even 10
meters provided a bit of fun and since I was not under pressure to make a big
score I called CQ for much longer than normal just to see what else would call.
I did the same on 80 meters in the mornings.
Great to check in with all the old and new contest friends.
